Oh my God!... I can't believe you took us back. I feel so old! I was 15 yrs old when those mags came out and sho 'nuff had those issues of Black Beat, Record and Right On. Shucks, I had some of the pics from them up on my wall (much to the dismay of my Mom).
Damn, I am straight tripping. Thanks for the memory lane stroll.

Out of all the magazines out there, I would say that back in the day, "Right On" was THE source of info on Prince. Andy is a four letter word. | |

I might have had that issue of Black Beat back in the day. I definitely owned that issue of Right On! Unfortunately, I threw out all those teen rags and only kept the more 'respectable' publications with Prince on the cover like 'Rolling Stone', lol. | |
