I don't feel that way at all about Waiting Room. Gwen does lead vocals whilst Prince is in the background with the xception of the chorus and some harmonies on verses

I notice that 2. I dont think their voices r really that compatible in the first place. Waiting Room sounds like a Prince song, if u didnt know it was a No Doubt one b4hand.

Prince sounded best with Rosie Gaines doing back-up, imho.

You think Gwen's voice is hidden? Try finding Kate Bush's voice on "My Computer" or better yet try finding Chante Moore's voice on "La,La,La, Means I Love You".

I think it depends on how you 'listen' to the songs, especially So Far So Pleased. I hear Gwen's voice much more prominently than I hear Prince's, but if I change the way I listen to the song, i.e. concentrate on Prince's voice, then that is the more prominent one to me.

You know what's funny? Dre also got alot of flak for not using Gwen's voice more on the song with Eve "Let Me Blow Your Mind" (which he produced). She sings the chorus/hook,but you can barely hear her.

Waiting Room sounds A LOT like Mayte's "Children Of The Sun" song. I always thought Prince should've saved more of that techno stuff for his own releases.

As for the vocals, I think they switch off between chorus and verse nicely.

both songs are great but waiting room could have done without princes vocals maybe.

How can you not barely hear her on the Eve track, it's very clear to me.
