Happy Anniversary Prince & Mani! ...Tied the knot in Hawaii 31 December 2001. Prince may say he doesn't believe in celebrating holidays, anniversaries, etc. but I don't know if he can get away with ignoring THIS one!  Either way, congrats to the obviously happy couple! Well, there's nothing in the bible commanding us to acknowledge or celebrate our wedding anniversary. Some like to make a big deal of it and throw a party, especially when they hit the big 10, 20, 25...etc. My parents never made a big deal out of theirs. Heck, they had 6 kids and one miscarriage by the time they were married 20 years...I guess they were celebrating ALL the time! But its a personal decision to observe it or not. Many Christmas' ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way. | |
