Huh, I just noticed my Prince and white women thread got deleted. Which I have no idea why considering I didn't say anything offensive. But whatever looking at this list it is so obvious that P has a preference for white women then latinas and light skinned black women. Everyone says he has a thing for latinas but I'm sure he has been with way more white women and a handful of latinas.There is not even that many latinas in Minnesota. I don't know what is so wrong with saying that it because it is just what he likes after all he did grow up in Minnesota which has the most blond women you will ever see besides LA. Ugggh sorry I am just annoyed that my post got deleted and I didn't say anything but the truth!

If Prince were Asian and you only saw white girls and "mixed" asians in his life, I bet people would say something then.

Of course people can be attracted to whomever they want. That's why 95% of black professional athletes are married to blondes and/or former strippers. You'll always be able to find someone you love in whichever ethnic group you are most interested in.

I don't think we need to be-labor the point. It's just damn frustrating when people try to deny what is so obvious, that's all. We can love him AND make observations about his lifestyle. Isn't that the whole point of price.org? (For example, how many Mani threads are there in a given day?)

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Nona Gaye say they dated briefly but they never consummated the relationship?

The only one I'm not quite clear on that list is Cat. There is a chance nothing happened but I wouldn't be surprised either way. But, I am leaning more to it not happening because I don't think Cat was Prince's type, plus he had just ended it with Susannah in 87' but Sheila was there to immediately pick up the pieces, which ultimately led to their engagement during those years Cat was around.

By the way, people can date whomever they choose obviously, but I have always wondered what's going on mentally that causes people to develope a "preference" for people outside of their group (particularly African-Americans, considering the great varitey in our community). I have always questioned those Asian men who have a preference for white women, and those Latin men who have a preference for Asian women, and those African-American women who have a preference for white men, and those African-American men who seem to have that preference for all women EXCEPT African-American women UNLESS they have very light skin. What's really going on in their minds? I believe love is blind but as screwed up as our society is, many times than not, I think people have unconscious twisted junk in the back of their minds.

BTW, I still think he hit with Cat at least once; he thought she was hot. You don't have to be 100% someone's type to f***. They were on tour together for a long time. One thing leads to another. Sometimes you're just lonely and bus/plane rides can be long.

I kinda wish that Prince were still on the dating scene and not settled down. It was so much fun watching him galavant with the ladies. He could be like Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson and wait a long time before cashing in his chips (though Jack still hasn't). And his sexiness factor was through the charts and all over his lyrics.
