Angry Prince = Best Prince music... I liked it back in de day when old man was angry. You know like dat Controversy blast? Or DM? Homes looked liked he'd slit cha throat fa lookin' at 'im. I know ya know whati'msayin' 'cause it's the truth. P couldn't slay a bunch of fools fa real 'cause that would put chief in jail. Nope, P could kill ya on wax and have that be the legality. That's what he was doin' back then. Remember them faces he used to make? He looked like OJ on a coke binge with a knife, only his knife was that Linn sumbitch what locked up in ya grille.
P today is happy P. Happy P means no more Angry P. No more Angry P means no mo' Controversy jams. So, enjoy dem BB games with Sammy L et al, my man. Live out dat good one, chief. His hard "fuck you" attitude is one of the things that got me hooked. That attitude with the messed up hair, bikini underwear, and trench coat was truly my favorite. Even though he looked feminine, his attitude was that you would regret it if you messed with him. I even like the appearance and attitude of his band members around him at that time also. Dez looked like he would cut you to pieces. Fink looked like he was crazy. Andre took pictures with his pants unzipped. And I love the trampy way Lisa was dressed before the creation of Vanity 6. Every thing about Prince back then was totally rebellious and I loved it. Andy is a four letter word. | |

Prince's work, like all art, is best when it is 'Inspired'. There a'int no point Prince just being angry on a record. Anybody could do that. The artistic challenge comes from channeling these particular emotions/feelings into an inspired representative piece of work.
