Purple Rain on VH1 - Movies That Rock! Hi Orgies!
Vh1 is airing "Purple Rain" Tuesday Dec 28 11:30 PM It seems like yesterday I was seeing in the movie theater for the first time in the summer of 1984. Thanks for the 411, I'm watching it myself right now. 
I was thinking that on the Purple Rain soundtrack, it would have been nice to have some of the other songs on there, like "Modernnaire" by Dez Dickerson, "Sex Shooter" by Apollonia6, and the songs that The Time performed, "Jungle Love", and "The Bird". But, I guess since this was Prince's movie, he wanted all of the tracks on the soundtrack to be his songs.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

Watching it now myself. Funny how everyone in the movie seems to have hair just like Prince. And the crowd all doing the same dance that appears to be an early version of the electric slide or something. And I can really only see two things about Appolonia that Prince would like. | |

Instead of VH1 cutting out the Lake Minnetonka breastseses scene, they just blurred out Apple's pepperonies. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

It's like I have bad acting amnesia in between viewings of this movie.
