Do you think Prince is a washed up old has been mainly wanted by his "fans"?

Yes. I do think he is. He is mainly "wanted" by his fans cause that's how the music industry operates: the fans buy the most records. And as far as being "washed up" I'm sure he likes to take good care of his hygiene.

If being a washed up old has been is:

-Having the top tour of the year
-Having a platinum plus selling album
-Giving a most legendary performance at the Grammy's
-showing you are still vital as ever when being inducted into the Rock&roll hall of fame
-being on the cover of a multitude of major magazines and papers including Rolling Stone and USA Today
-Having an MTV, Vh1 and BET simulcast TV special
-Having the most successful concert/movie theater simulcast ever
-being nominated for as many Grammy's as you were during "Purple Rain"

then I think most musicians and singers wish they were a "washed up old has been" like Prince.

You have to step outside of that view and look at what the charts and commercial music is.

Prince still has a role in that industry, but it's a different role, just like it should be.

right! nod

but, the thing is he can't go much further from where he is now. They have other people for that even, don't you think?

-----
What the hell are talking about? They have other people for what ? Does the music industry have a clone of P that can sell 96 million worth of concert tickets ?

so he made a few bucks lol

what next?

We assume another CD. Maybe another tour in a few years. I liked to see him produce and write songs for other acts. He is a musician and I am pretty sure the music is going to continue.

Washed up, what a laugh. He's going strong and will continue to get stronger because he's PRINCE, Period.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
