New prince CD 4 x-mas, my review! Well, 2days is crimbo every1, so happy Xmas, hope Ur all having a great time.
Well my day has been so funky with my new CD which im loving, alot of people really dislike this album, but im feeling it so much. Rave un2 the joy fantastic, this album is the bomb, has 2 be in my top 5, along with ATWIAD, Parade, TRC and Musicology. Ok the album does have it bad spots and when i say bad i mean bad, WTF is "everyday is a winding road" about? what was prince on? the sheryl crow version is 10X's better. Also "Hot Wit U" is just hurrible. "Rave un the joy fantastic" is OK, the drum's are really different and depends on what mood im in 2 like it or not. Now the good points. "Undisputed" is an amzing song, 1 of my favourite if not my favourite off the album, i love his voice on this track, i love it! "Tangerine" Is a kool little track, it really sweet lol i love it! "So far, so pleased" this song sounds like "cinnamon girl" 2 me lol its a nice little track! "Man O'war" an amazing track, everything about this is just great, his vocals at the end of this track r just mind blowing! "I love U but i dont....." another fantastic track, hard 2 beat! "Wherever U go, Whatever U do" this track is really sweet, im feelign this track alot!  i just find that the drums in the back ground sound like "If i was Ur girlfriend" just speeded Up!

Yes..by all means, get "Rave In2.." also...it's even better!
Highlights of In2 4 me: * Undisputed - different lyrics, my fave "...like Clarence said, 'I got a million of 'em, all different you know'" Also "Is that your song on the radio? 'It could be gee, I can't remember, I wrote it in '84!" Both bring a nice reference to Purple Rain. * Beautiful Strange - Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
