Hi,
Any way to find out where the videos from Purple Rain (Take Me with U, I Would Die 4 U) where shot? On what part of the Purple Rain tour?

I've deduced from watching the DVD commentary and reading the forum that Take Me With U was from Syracuse, NY and I Would Die 4 U at New Orleans Superdome? Does that sound right?

Also, does anyone remember if regular videos for these songs existed, and were they just more movie footage? And is the I Would Die 4 U video the one that was played nonstop on MTV?

Both I Would Die 4 U & Baby I'm A Star were filmed at Capitol Cantre, Landover in November 1984.
Take Me With U was filmed at the Summit Arena, Houston in January 1985.
