rare songs that everybody raves about, but you just don't get it i searched for months to get electric intercourse, and while it's a nice song, i don't see what all the hoopla is about. it certainly isn't good enough to replace anything on Purple Rain you look better on your facebook page than you do in person  | |

Yeah I don't get all the gushing over Electric Intercourse either. I just heard it about a year or 2 ago and it's on my ipod (from the Avenue) and it's cool, but I dont' know why everyone acts like it's the undiscovered Purple Rain.
Alexa de Paris... I like it. .. and it has a really cool mood which I can't place, but again some people go on and on. Power Fantastic. Although I've only listened to it a few times from the Hits, mainly cuz it didn't really bowl me over. And pretty much anything after SOTT.  |

after listening to 'empty room' a few times and being distinctly underawed, i just tried again a couple of weeks ago. NOW i get it, it's great!! not QUITE as good as people make out, but not far off, neither.
'electric intercourse' just gets better the more i listen to it. i've got a rehearsal version but i'd like to hear the studio cut. i don't think it's circulating. y'all are gonna hate me for this but i think 'extraloveable' isn't as good as it's said to be. give me 'all my dreams' any day. most of 'the gold experience' is well overrated, imo. i really don't like that album a lot. | |
