"Sexy Dancer": what's it REALLY mean? CUSTOMARY WARNING: i created this thread out of a mix of curiosity and for the hell of it. any and all jive-assery will result in a cyber-francis l. slap to the dome.
last night i was on the phone with my psychic twin, FunkMistress, and i kinda came up with something in regards to people's takes on various prince songs and whatever meaning lies behind 'em. in all the years i've been on this site, i've seen so many folks attempting to find meaning in every and any lyric that pops up, even if it seems that p did the song for the hell of it and it might not mean anything....like "sexy dancer", f'rinstance. that cut seems like he wrote the mofo out on a napkin or sumfin, then went home and just put music behind it. obviously, there HAS to be some sorta deep-seated meaning within the song. my question to you, my fellow org brethren: what's the see-cret message in "sd?" give it a little thought....  | |
