I saw a 2 cd set in my used cd store called the Jewel Box. Anyone know anything about this? I think it was live outtakes but not sure. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Not sure about a 2 CD set, but there are 2 out-take 3CD sets - Jewel Box I and II, both are at least 10 years old, I know because I bought them both in 1994/5.

Very nice boots for the time, kinda what the Moonraker/Thunderball 3CD sets were modelled on (Fantasia, Deposition, H2o, The Work etc, etc)

They are very old sets - great for the time, but have been surpassed in terms of quality a long time ago.

Get them as collectors items, not particularly for their quality.

If you want better quality, the Moonraker/Thunderball sets are the ones to go for - all of which have been encompassed by their The Work series - I never got those since I have all the older ones - Fantasia, Deposition, Dreams, Cosmos & H2o.

they r actualy pretty good if u cant get "the work" cd sets.

When considering purchasing bootlegs from someone, including stores, make sure that the discs are the silver factory pressed variety with professionally printed artwork. Many places around here sell CD-r's with photo-copied art at jacked-up prices. To me, that's just wrong. CD-r's are for trading, unless you absolutely can't find the set anywhere else.

The store should at least let you look at and listen to the discs.

hehe, i brought my copy of the jewel box with me to work today--pulled it out since i hadn't listened to it in a long time (been payin more attention to my copy of testament).

4 discs...i'd say that the quality's a bit better than what's on the work. it's somewhat around the same, too. depends on the track you're listenin to.
