I was riding around in my car today listening to my favorite station 92.3 which plays old and new school r&b."The Beautiful Ones" came on and I decided to call them on my cell phone to thank them for playing it. I mentioned that Prince has been talking lately about how bad radio stations are today and that he would be happy to know they were playing different stuff. The dj (Theo) said he just thinking of playing "Lady Cab Driver"and so we started talking about songs that they should play. He asked me to hold on so he could make a list of Prince songs they should play. Another guy got on and I gave him a short list of songs I could think of at the top of my head. Hears the songs I thought of-

Adore
Private Joy-for the old school
In this bed I scream-(he laughed at this title but I told him it wasn't nasty.)
Thats all I could think of at the time but my point is-if you live in the LA area, call up and tell them to play some unlikely Prince songs.He said they play what's requested, so request.

I listen to that radio station all the time, but wouldnt you know it, i missed that particular moment you spoke of - I hear them play Prince songs all the time... yesterday they played
'I wanna be your lover'... Generally I listen to the Sinbad & Friends show while I'm at work, but i'm curious to know - did they ever play those songs you requested?
I would love to hear more prince, & any station will play, it will be that one. Sinbad loves Prince & so does Theo! (yes same Theo from the OLD 92.3 THE BEAT!)
NOW Julio G is on the evening & I do remember him being quite a Prince fan as well.. also from the old BEAT station
