i have one marked "slow Prince," one called "Emancipated jams," (instead of schlepping all 3 around, just my faves from the set) one with stuff from Crystal Ball, and one with late b-sides and soundtrack stuff. those all stay in my Jeep. used to do the tapes back in the day but i don't know what happened to those...

One point I wanna make is just how cool NPGMC year one was if you just took the time to personalise the material given.

We got 1 proper CD album, another by download and, in my case, another 8 CDs of at least fair quality and in some cases excellent quality. I reckon an "Associated Artists" CD might add an 11th too. So ELEVEN CDs of quality music for $100!!

And I haven't even mentioned the videos and the arrangements of much of the music I listed above into the Ahdio shows. I really think that NPGMC year one's value for money was absolutely superb!

Those sound excellent, gubbins! My brother and I have made some interesting discs of the NPGMC material as well...We're stocked up on CDRs at the moment to get all of the Ahdio shows- hehe. I'm glad to see that you also think that the value has been great for the first year of NPGMC.

I make these all the time, but I'll just list my most recent concoction, called "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold".

It's ballads and mid-tempo songs from 1996-2000. Emancipation through High) Why? Um. Not sure. It has a musical theme of rather dopey unimaginitive drum programming. However, the reason is probably just because I don't listen to stuff from this era, but there are some really beautiful songs from then that can be enjoyed more, I think, alongside each other rather than amid piles of crap.


The tracklist kind of tells a story. 3 discs, 15 songs each. Disc 1 is infatuation, supreme love, and just overall happiness about being in love. Disc 2 is about breaking up, infidelity, loneliness, etc. Disc 3 is about hate, revenge, salvation, and the final track brings it full circle. Ummm, hmm. Sort of the story of Prince's love life the last several years, now that I think of it. But not intentionally, I promise

in my program (jam 2.6 on macintosh), i have an option called "normalize". select all the songs and "normalize" them...that's it !

on pc, u can open each song in a music program...theres always a "normalize" option.
