Goldnigga and Exodus are NPG albums, Prince was involved with both. Exodus is great, Goldnigga isn't really worth it unless u like Tony M.

1800NEWFUNK is a Paisley Park compilation from 1994. It has the original version of Lovesign, and a couple other good tracks.

The Truth is a Prince acoustic album - an absolute must have.

Kamasutra is a ballet Prince wrote for Mayte. It's a nice listen.

Both The Truth and Karmasutra feature as part of the 5 CD version of Crystal Ball
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

As said, The Truth & Kamasutra were part of the 5cd Crystal Ball release. U can still get it from npgmc, at least it was there last time I checked in the retail section.

The Truth is a full Prince album. Just Prince on guitar with some effects floating in and out of the mix at times. It's kind of 'semi-acoustic'. This is actually one of my all time favorit Prince albums. Sounds intimate and real.

Kamasutra. Don't know what to say about this actually. From what I understand a lot of people like it. But for me personally it doesn't work. Sounds quite pretentious and very slick. No vocals here, just a ballet Prince wrote and had the npg orchestra conduct.

1-800-New-Funk is a pretty nice album. compilation with Mavis Staples, Nona Gaye, George Clinton, Prince, Madhouse and The Steeles on it. I don't listen 2 this album very often but when I do, I listen to it for the original version of "Lovesign", Mavis' "You Will Be Moved" and the great Madhouse tune "17"

Gold Nigga is an NPG album and it has a few good moments but overall it's not that great. Johny is the only real cool track. Actually, the grooves are pretty nice and the album has a lot of nice things to it. It's just the fact that Tony takes lead on all the trax [except on Johnny] which puts me off the album.

Exodus is a very good cd. Many, many segues on there. But also many good songs. Outstanding trax "Count The Days", "Return Of The Bumpsquad" and "The Exodus Has Begun".
It's credited 2 the NPG and Sonny T takes lead on the songs, but in essence it's just a kick ass Prince album, and an all the more interesting one since it was composed during the 93-95 period.

Have you checked the npgmusicclub website's discography yet? You don't mention where you found the names of these albums, so perhaps you haven't checked that one out. They've got all the albums Prince released and all the other projects he was involved in listed in the discography section. Along with all the trax names, release dates etc.

Get into Madhouse, Prince's ongoing Jazz-fusion project. You must own the following albums:

1- '8'(official release) 1987

2- '16'(official release) 1987

3- '24' # 1 (unofficial release) 1988

4- '24' # 2 (unofficial release) 1993

They will blow your mind!
