the finale of Glam Slam. The Vicki Vale part in Batdance. The "orgasm" at the end of Darling Nikki. The part in LGC ext. on PR when the lights change and he does that crazy ass guitar riff. The phone conversation in Bob George. Too many to name.

the part in Anna Stesia where he keeps asking all these questions of himself, and then he breaks down and cries out, "Save me Jesus, I've been a fool!" all the way to the end.

The intro beat to the original Joy In Repetition.

The silence.

The beat that re-appears. Then speeds up. The first chords of the guitar.

"Adore"- Well, maybe not the ride!

"I Could Never Take The Place..."- I love when he sings "You know and I know that we wouldn't be satisfied, and the way he sings "your man" at about 2 and a half minutes into the song.

"When You Were Mine"- At 2:27, "You were ALL I ever wanted to do. Now I spend my time..." It's great how he puts so much emotion into it and how he says "all" and "spend my time". I just love it.

"Little Red Corvette"- Giiirl, you got an ass like I've neevver seeeen..., and, of course, the opening line.

"I Wanna Be Your Lover"- 46 seconds into it, the little sound after "I need your lovin'" that everyone screams out at the shows. smile One of my my favorite parts of the Musicology tour.

"She Gave Her Angels"- That piano intro is beautiful and simple.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

All The Critics Love U In New York- "Take a bath, hippie!!!"

Sexuality-"Mama, are you listenin'?" and the guitar note right after it.

Darling Nikki-"Call me up whenever u wanna grind..." the SCREAM

Joy In Repetition-"A little bit behind the beat, i mean just enough to turn u on" the snare drum...then the very last notes he sings on that song.

Glam Slam-the string section at the end.

Something In The Water...all the screams in it.

Sometimes It Snows..."he used to stay so strong...."

Superfunkycalifragisexy-"if u can't beat 'em....join 'em" nasty.

Scarlet Pussy-"pussy cat pussy cat...where for art thou puppy" (the one in the deep voice)

La La La.."you've got nine lives, i've only got one...oooow!"

God-his voice the whole way through that song.

Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic-the effect he gets when he taps the strings with his plectrum (and the Boss Flanger on) exactly 2 mins into the song..

Crystal Ball-"i don't know...i'll have to ask my mommy first"

When We're Dancing...the notes he sings at the end.

When Doves Cry-the screams coming out of the guitar solo.

It-when he hits the gong and whispers "come on"

Oh man, there are tooo many.

Do U Lie? The entire song as I always give it as an example of the MOST excuisite harmony between Prince's voice and feamle background vocals.

But the entire song is to me amazing as Prince's voice through out the song is bending around the notes and stuff.

Private Joy - "Come on baby get up"

New Position - "Oh let me do ya.."
The Ballad of Dorothy Parker - "Well, I ordered.."
If I was your girlfriend - "what silence looks like...well...would u?.."
Anna Stesia - the whole song
Scandalous - "I just can't, I just can't...I can't wait baby.."
Joy in repetition - the whole song

The bridge between New Position and I Wonder U. How one song slows, then the other song picks up momentum. Amazing.

New Position; 1:08 into the song Prince's voice is right on the drum beat. Uhmmm.

Forever In My Life. 3:06 into the song the last LADADADA sounds and that guitar kicks in. Then the songs fades away, where the live version turns into a gospel song. The promise of that fade out. Is there an extended version of this song? Oh my...

Girl exactly 7"01 into the song, the song simplifies, just leaving that lovely organ.

Extra Lovable. 4:10 "Would anybody care to get naked?" and the break that follows....

Strange Relationship - the screwy slidey bass noise after 'I think u and I got a' and the subsequent 'yeah yeah' ending.

U Got The Look - 'Well, HERE we ARE' in crazy different octaves/voices. The bizarre soundscape at the fadeout.

U Got The Look (Long Look) - the instrumental section in the middle. Once on its own, once with Sheena Easton's vocals on top.

Anotherloverholenyohead - 3 notes of piano after the line 'if u don't clap your hands'

Scarlet Pussy - the second or third time the chorus comes round (i forget), the way they sing 'happy as can be' in a stilted, stylized voice

Let's Pretend We're Married - the end rap

DMSR - the 2 tiny notes, an octave apart, that punctuate the opening keyboard riff.

I Wonder U - the sweeping, swooping orchestral lines that form the backdrop to the lines 'I do love u 4 all time, 4 all time/ though u are far, I wonder u, ur on my mind'

Joy In Repetition - the 'articulated manner' line that doesn't scan and when the snare drum comes in, of course

Elephants and Flowers - there's some unbelievably strange stuff going on in the background, haven't got it to hand, but if memory serves, check out just before the final choruses come in - swoopy, loopy noises

If I Was Your Girlfriend - everything, obviously

Irresistible Bitch - the 'ghost' vocals swirling around in the back of the mix

Shockadelica - lots of things but especially Prince's human beatbox/bassline

Positivity - hidden away in the mix (haven't got the timing to hand, but it's about half way thru, I think), Prince can be heard after one of the 'na-na-na-na-na-na... so low's saying 'Say it again'. and they do.

I Wish U Heaven Part 1.2.3. - everything from the end of the first section onwards, especially the housequake parody, the blue angel solo and the electronic pulse that drives the thing along. one of the best things he ever did, i say

Good Love - everything, obviously

Hot Thing - When the keyboard riff is taken by a savage crunching electric guitar, one time only, in the back of the mix

Head - keyboard solo

Annie Christian - well, everything, really

All The Critics Love U In New York - the beat and the bass. and everything else.

my fave song's "kiss", and i don't have a particular part of the song (single or 12" version) that i like cuz i dig the whole thing. i'll substitute that for the 12-inch version of "sexy dancer" this time around.

know that part with just the kick drum and bassline at that little instrumental bit towards the end of the song, right before the handclapsandfingasnaps (heh) and the synths come back in? that's my stuff right there.

thumbs up!
