Prince "He's got the look?" Again? I've been following the Purple one now since 1981. Changes on every album and his clothes and style. So why is it that Prince has to re-invent himself for every new album. Are we to think with this "Dirty mind" look Prince is back to his old ways? I for one think this is getting old. Pick a style you like my friend (not the afro look) maybe Parade or like ONA one. Maybe I'm getting old in my Prince days, but it just seems cheesy to change all the time. Sorry but I have to disagree. One of the things I love most about Prince is his ability to re-invent himself at will. It keeps things interesting, just like in any relationship, if you keep things the same way for too long, things get stale and people get restless! Variety, is the spice of life, my friend!

I don't look as I did in 1980...why should he
ppl change and grow up. Its not even about "reinvention". Its just called natural progression....

Congrats! that was the most close-minded thing I've read all year!
Without change we cannot survive Thank you Prince, for constantly evolving and keeping things interesting Even the changes that he makes that I don't like, I can atleast appreciate. But there is always someone who has to complain about anything "ah, its nice and warm outside" "Well I wish it was bitter cold and snowin!" If you will, so will I

Nothing wrong with changing styles. Certainly if it fits the mood, and his styles defiantely fit the feel of his music, in different eras. Did you order a pizza ma'am? Prince- UTCM

Exactly--Prince is a master at growing and evolving (or digressing), but never has he just stood still. And he HAS been consistent about a few things. For example, no matter what beautyshot picture he poses for, he is ALWAYS looking like he's sucking on a lemon.
