Along with being an incredible musician, Prince is also an accomplished vocalist. He hits high notes, low notes, a haughting falsetto, and powerful natural.

That said, Prince has been known to mangle the occaisonal phrase or take an adlib to the extreme!

Example:

I was listening to "Temptation" earlier, which I hadn't heard in a while.I remember liking it because I thought it was funny, but I couldn't remember what it was about the saong that I thought was so funny.

Then it hit me; You know the part after the gutiar solo when he brings to chorus back in? Well, what he actually sang goes something like this:

(in full screaming mode)"Ugh..ugh..ugh! Ohhhhtemtay-yayay-shunnn! Yeahworkinmyboda lika-na na nanannowww! Naaaaa na nanaa yooooo-ooh ooohh!
Temptation....."

I about wrecked my car laughing! What the hell?!!
That's just one of those Adlibs where you just go "damn, he really got caught up that time!"

I have bootleg of a concert he did in Stockholm, where he just butchers the first verse of "Head". He comes in too early with "You were so nonchalaunt, don't want you to be misled" and had to make something to fill out the rest of the verse!

at newcastle in 1999 he forgot the lyrics to baby knows. maybe he didn't write it!

This was one of the Bloopers that it was obvious that he screwed up, but he played it off and proceded to jam the hell out of the song!
