I don't want Prince to win or even be nominated for any awards unless they are some type of lifetime achievement awards. Look at the competition of today. Prince is far above them and his name doesn't need to be even mentioned in the same breath as theirs.

I too was MAJORLY disappointed he didn't win. I figured he would at least get the people's vote!! Grammy's are more "by no one who really counts" anyway. That's where Usher is---PRINCE should have been People's choice.

Taken aside "P's" BIGGEST concert, it seems, ever, I can't believe no on etook the time to vote for "P".

Another thought.....I agree with vainandy in that Prince gets sooo much admiration and musical respect from everyone in the audience with a standing ovation, and even the mention of his name brings screams. I think he IS above the current artists now.

Given the choice between respect of your art and an award to get dusthy, PRINCE HAS EVERY ARTIST OUT THERE BEAT!!!!!
