Does Prince Still Own a Bar Called "Glam Slam" in Phlly? The reason why I ask is because I was watching MTV's The Real World last Tuesday night. One of housemates said something about going to the Glam Slam that night. I notice that the Real Worlders hang out there quite frequently, but when they show the outside of the bar, it only says "Glam". 
I'm pretty sure that all of Prince's Glam Slam bars are now closed, but I'm wondering about this one. If it's not owned by Prince, then maybe it's owned by a Prince fan, since "Glam Slam" is an unusual name for a bar. Either that, or Prince DID, at one time, own a Glam Slam in Philly, and when he sold it, the new owner just kept the original name. Does anybody know the story behind this? RIP, mom. I think all the glamslams are closed. The one here in Miami is now called CrowBar and famous DJs/cleberities can still be found there from time to time. | |

There was never a Glam Slam in Philly. Only ones in MPLS, Miami, and LA. | |

I live in Philly and no it's not a Glam Slam Club. It's actually called Glam Lounge, but the sign only says "Glam" outside. I wish like hell it was! | |
