It´s been said before but I´ll say it again: Don´t count him off as an actor..
A second Robert De Niro or Marlon Brando he´s definitely not, but I´d love to see him doing a cameo appearance or even star in a bigger role in some new movie. Maybe some Quentin Tarantino stuff..am I the only one, except for Dansa, who thinks that Prince would have been a better Joker than Nicholson ?
Prince is a hard working man, maybe the hardest working man in showbiz, and now that his ego isn´t as massive as it used to be he might even be a good actor with the right director.

good acting is drawn from a reserve of sub-text, of the ability to display an emotional connection with a character other than yourself...it seems n Prince's world everything must relate 2 him, little concern of what anyone else may B feeling...if he has any real acting ability; this one is still waiting 2 C it...not saying he doesn't have the capacity but it seriously needs work

I don't think he is that bad. I thought he was great in Purple Rain, and I absolutely love UTCM.. It's one of my favorite movies. I haven't had a chance to see Grafitti Bridge, I can't find it anywhere! But I would love anything with P in it! I do believe though, that he is a way better musician than an actor, but I have seen worse actors, he is actually really good compared to all the other musicians that have tried to become actors!!!

YES!! I think he is a Great Actor! He has this natural gift that only a few have & i'd say the most respected at it was Charlie Chaplin! Prince has that gift to act with his eyes. He can tell the whole story & emotion with no words. Just with his eyes & expressions.

Prince could never ever play the joker though. Whoever said that is just plain stupid. Jack was the only one for "batman" and Tim bloody knew it. Thats why he had to pay him so much for the role. Jack is the joker.
