Has Prince ever performed Mad Sex or Joint 2 Joint live?

Two of my favourites...

I've definetely heard that he played "Mad Sex" live once. I've got a couple boots of the New Power Soul tour, I'll see if it's on any of them and if it is I'll upload it for ya.

I remember he did Mad Sex at the soundcheck at the Brixton Academy in 1998, but he didn't do it at the actual show confused

He played Mad Sex in Oakland in (I think it was) January 1998. Had the audience sing "Mad Sex!" After the first chorus he says "Now, ain't that funky?"

He also seemingly improvised "Freaks on this Side" when he was going back and forth on the stage looking into the audience and decided "I think the freaks on this side" (my side, of course) and proceeded to lead the audience in a round of "the freaks on this side!"

Thus I've always liked New Power Soul for the memories it evokes.

Pick up the "Villanova Park" boot for an extended take.

Apart from "Mad Sex" it also features a particularly soulful rendition of "A Case Of You", perhaps the second best live version of this I've heard since the one P played at First Avenue August 3rd 1983.
