It seems that The Santana Medley has been a Prince's favourite live track for some time... which performance you like best??? I really like the one from Viva Las Vegas (a Las Vegas show from 1998), also the one from the Birthday Party in June 1994 in Glam Slam.

BTW, I believe he could release a nice performance of this one day. but probably he won't..

For sure the Fillmore aftershow from last year. I didn't have the tracklisting before I heard it, and the intro was amazing. When it flowed into the medley, that guitar just blew me away.

What is the Satana Medley? How it sounds like?

I LOVE the performance from the Glam Slam Miami. It must be the best. I played that for some friends that disliked Prince and after hearing the guitar playing on that track, they were hooked.

The Santana Medley is, well, a medley of Santana songs (three or four - maybe someone can come up with the titles)... Prince has played this both at aftershows as well as main shows and it's based primarily on Prince's guitar playing... it usually showcases all band members with Prince ending up with a guitar solo, which most of the times is simply amazing...

ok well my best bet would have to be dublin 1995. the one where bono is in the house. i think that might be my fave P bootleg performance. hot, man! hot!
