Question about a lyric in "Wasted Kisses" I've been trying to make sense of the line that goes "in front of your (gut tell another)...why should I care"
Can anybody explain this line?

In front of your gutterally satanic mother, why should I care.

"...in front of your Guatemalan lover..." If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

No, No, No Its "in front of your incestural brother" (Insert something clever here)

I always wondered that too. Great song. For me, that blew every other song away on NPS.

No, No, No Its "in front of your incestural brother" That doesn't make any sense though? Becuase Isn't Prince singing this song to his sister? And since he has no other brothers, his incestural brother would be himself? Thus, he would litterly be saying "If I played with my little man in front of myself, why should I care?" Of course, maybe he meant brother in a general figurative sense?

I agree, The One and Wasted Kisses could (and likely should) have been on a "Prince/O+>" album and not buried on NPS. The One's video is exquisite... "Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion" -- Martha Graham
