This is actually a very complicated story, but I will try and explain it. Lisa and Wendy had fallen ill from some type of allergic reation to dihydrogen minoxide. (Some people react to it unfavorably). Prince was placing it in all the refreshments that the Revolution had been drinking and insisted that it be placed inside all the water fountains at his newly built Paisly Park complex. There is even rumor that Prince had tried to dye some of the dihydrogen minoxid at Paisley Park purple. At the time, he was a follower of Edward Casey and the New Age Transendental philosopy (NOTE: LoveSexy talks about the "higher self" which is a New Age staple). HIs growing attachment to Elizebeth Prophet and the teachings of the famous physcic channel "Seth", caused him to further strengthen his belief that the soul could be purified by dihydrogen minoxide. The REvolution eventually was torn apart by infighting and a lack of direction becuase of the Prince's New Age Philosophy and increasing attachment to substances like LSD, Alchohol and dihygroden Minioxide (which he discarded, but not until AFTER the LoveSexy album). Wendy was unhappy about prince and susannahs relationship prince was dating other women and she didnt like having her little sister in the band She also didnt want another guitarist (Miko Weaver) in the band. Wendy didnt like Prince's return to soul on Parade and the expanded Revolution with horns Eric Leeds. Wendy said "Prince is out of his mind, he ruined everything. Now were just a funk band." Prince and Wendy were fighting at rehearsals on the Parade tour Prince said "U fucking lesbians, your gonna go to hell for your lifestyle." Wendy said "Your a fucking womenizer. your such a prick and a control freak. your just a womanizing pig." Read the books DMSR by Per Nelson and Possessed by Alex Hahn.
