Prince Nude Tour Japan - Video

Any good? I have heard one of the audio counterparts and I like that a lot. Has anyone seen the video footage?

Crappy tour. Highlghts are Bambi/Question of U.

This tour introduces the three dancing d*ckheads better known as the Game Boyz (Tonyfu*kin'M, Damon D. and Kirky J)

The footage is quite good. Recorded from broadcast(Japanese commercials and everything) tons of camera angles. Bambi is fantastic.

Snap

I love the part where he's scatting, and then does several other breathing effects and such. Looked like a lot of fun to me.

I loved this video. It was the first time I really realized how amazing Prince was live. He's all over the place in this one. And the Japanese fans were standing and singing the whole time. All of them! It was odd but fun to see. The Japanese commercials are funny too. I think it was a time when Prince wasn't crazy about playing in the states. You can see why with the Japanese fans. Much more involved then the "Purple Rain" fairweather fance Prince has here in the states.

That was not the Game Boyz on the Purple Rain tour. That was Wally Safford, Jerome, and one last guy I can't remember at the time. And to think, I just watched the '86 birthday show the other day that had these guys on it.

Not the Purple Rain tour, in the Purple Rain film, The Game Boyz were the Brackdancers on the Jungle Love part. Greg Brooks and Wally Safford were in the crowd doing the Bird on the Bird part of the Purple Rain film. on the Purple Rain Tour Jerome, Brooks and Wally were in the Baby Im A Star part as The Time doing the Bird with Prince.
Goodnight, sweet Prince.

The point is, no one knew who they were. At that time as far as anyone was concerned they were just three club goers dancing (extras in the film), further more and more importantly they weren't on stage with Prince.

Were they the same goofy dancers that did that "to the left" "to the right" thing on Arsenio? That was pure Prince cheese. Gotta love it though. What was he thinking? I mean did he really think they added to his live show? They were cartoonish.
