Saviour - Yay or nay? Like much of Emancipation I could understand different views on this song. I kind of like it, the ending part is definitely killer!

I prefer it to Friend, Lover sister mother wife and like the fact that it is a band. they are working well i think. i actually like all of emancipation, is some way or another | |

A big ole YAY for me. It's in my top 3 songs from Emancipation. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

A MILLION YAYS Savior is beautiful from start to the
end. The way he blended this song was one of his best. He has away of blending his music. This one he puts his signature on it. The beginning feels just like a flower opening up and that classical twist is awesome. Prince was really feeling this you can hear. powerful powerful song. Were like 2 petals from same the flower baby Were like 2 branches from the same tree A master piece

I much prefer the very underrated One Kiss At A Time to that of Saviour.I always found Saviour to be a bit too melodramatic and over the top especially the ending.
The subtle silences in OKAAT speak volumes to me. | |

I have to say I loved it at first, but have not heard it for years.....funny how the 3 or so whole band NPG songs r the best on emancipation isn't it?

Emancipation isn't a bad album,though a lot you orgers think it is The love we make,sleep around,slave,joint2joint,somebody'somebody, ..do I have 2 say more??? Didn't hear this kind off songs the last couple off years huh?? Love4oneanother | |
