"Automatic" question Prince made a rather lengthy and sexually charged video for the song "Automatic" and yet I don't think it was ever released as a single. Can someone please help clarify what the deal is when "Delirious" was a single and yet didn't have a video? Why did Prince make the "Automatic" video? Thank you in advance  | |

Automatic was released as a single in Australia. I once had the 7" before trading it for The Family CD (with other items).
I don't think he would have made the video just for the Oz market though. Perhaps a larger release was planned and shelved? Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

According to Kevin Smith' Prince story on his DVD, one of Prince's people told Kevin that there are literally hundreds of videos just wasting away within Paisley Park. Stuff that was filmed and never even intended for release...
