....in fact, it was quite good. I was watching it at a friend's house this past weekend, and I enjoyed it. He was still the man that he is now, and he was still rocking it out with all his NPG asnd Minneapolis crew.

So why is there all this hate for the DVD? Or do Prince fans need to bit h about something?

A lotta people were unhappy with the special effect used by the director and cameraman that made everything look jumpy jerky.Thats what I have heard....the performance is slamming

I don't know why people don't like it either.

Granted I have to skip over "The Christ," but other than that, I think he shows his continued GUITAR DOMINANCE in this performance.

part of the problem with it is that the crowd are really lame and it seems to lack excitement and atmosphere.

I also didn't like the extended Family Stone Reunion Tour. Gotta skip that one.

And I was disappointed in the end. There's that strange bit where he shows the Greatest Romance video and cuts to live.

I also thought it was a sad send-off for 1999's last performance. It didn't look like ANYONE was that jazzed about playing it or hearing it.

That being said, I love the guitar playing throughout and, althought those blue and brown jump suits were horrible, I liked his hair and makeup!

The Blues part with Prince rockin' Jimi Hendrix's Purple House is awesome! Prince and Lenny Kravitz rockin' out! Shes Always In My Hair is killer! George Clinton is jammin'. Funky! The Time Jungle Love ! Yeah!

It has its moments but bkw is right the crowd was horrible.

I once borrowed this DVD to my brother. At the same time I was also borrowing him my copy of the South Park movie. What I said as I gave them to him was something that I never thought I would be able to say about a Prince movie: "You're 4-year old son can watch the Prince movie, but he can't watch the cartoon"

Some of my mates who I was in a band with saw it on TV and I was so embarassed after I had bigged him up as a live performer, they saw that and never again believed a word I said!

I thought it started really badly…didn’t get moving until the Time took the stage.

Looking through the DVD, I couldn’t help but think there was still more I was missing???

i was there....and i thought it was ok...but it was really nothing like a real "CONCERT" it was a pretty stged event...lots of starts and stops.....breaks and prince leaving stage and stopping songs cause the floor was a lil wet....ect.and the lenny segment sucked !!!!!

I found it quite embarrassing to watch. Only really liked She Is Always In My Hair.

I love Larry's bass playing in U Got The Look
She's Always In My Hair is another highlight...I seldom watch it now but when I do I skip The Time's performance and much of Lenny's as well...not that the performances are bad,they just have a very dated feel to them.
