My avatar is simply the unpronounceabel symbol, Prince used from 1993-2000.
I just googled "Prince Symbol" and suddenly, I found this picture.

What is your story of your Prince avatar?

i cant remember where i got the pic from, but i started using this pic around 9/11 last year. i thought it appropriate.

This is my son Sidney when he was only 5 months, wearing the symbol shirt i ordered on the NPGMC site. Poor kid, just because his father is a total prince-freak, he looks like a fool 2 his friends.

I like the close up pics of P's face...this one I like alot.

I really dig all the iconography surrounding the Lovesexy album, and thought that the 'Yes' logo would look the best in a square.

Mine is Andre Cymone. Not only is Andre a great musician but he's an extremely good looking man. He's just as pretty as Prince but a little more masculine. I searched the internet forever for pictures of Andre but I was surprised that there were so few. My first choice was the cover of the 45 of "The Dance Electric". I love that picture but when I put it in my avatar, it was so small, I couldn't tell what it was.

I changed mine for a Zappa one,in honour of the man who imo is a greater genius than our little Purple One...(I'm sorry Prince,but you just don't seem to live up to my BIG expectations anymore...And I'm really sorry I have to say this!)

My avatar is the cover of The Hits 2 CD, made famous for the black and white imagery of Herb Ritts (RIP). Always was my favorite picture of P.

My avatar is Prince and Sheila E. I only picked it because at the time it was the only pic I was able to save to my computer. I definitely need to change it.

Umm, well mine isnt very Princely right now...
I use the Breast Cancer awareness ribbon because I'm a survivor and I want to remind people that this is something that happens to real, everyday people regardless of age. The Drs told me I was too young, you're never too young. Get checked.

Mine is from the Hawaii pics...I just love how pensive and thoughtful he looks. He seems to exude a thoughtfull calm...maybe his genius at work in his mind!

And, it doesn't hurt that with the long hair and close shot...he looks so handsome and cool at the same time! Enjoy! Yummy!

All of my avatars of Prince are from the mid/late 70s-mid 80s. This one is from around 1981 or '82. I've had Vanity and one of Prince & Vanity as avatars, as well.

In 1987, I was 17, I traveled from the UK to Holland to see the opening SOTT tour in Utrect. On the second night, I failed to get a ticket and just hung around the stadium exit.

As Prince left by limo (at speed), he almost knocked me over. To make apologies, he gave me a lift into town in the limo. We talked about Jesse Johnson and Shockadelica, and as I got out, I said I'm going to McDonalds, does he fancy a burger?

He said, "I bet you're gonna have squirrel meat". I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. I thanked him for the lift and left.

12 months later, I was listening to the bootleg of the black album and I hear "squirrelmeat".

It made me smile.

SOTT was my favourite album. I met Prince 3 times since, but that was the time that made me smile.

Squirrelmeat became my favourite line.

For real? Damn!

I'd love to know what he said about the whole Jesse/Shockadelica fiasco!
