pRINCE AUTOGRAPHED PICTURE

at www.itsonlyrocknroll.com , they are auctioning off alot of rock and roll collectibles. one of them is an autographed photo of Prince. I'm wondering if anyone here can authenticate the signature, because I didnt think that Prince signed anything. Link to photo ->http://www.itsonlyrocknroll.com/catalog/item.php?prodpa=&unid=2576

Yes, he did sign stuff back in the day (I have an autograph of his that also say's "love God, Prince") but it's impossible to tell if the one on the link is legit, and even if it is I think $1000 is way too high.
Eventually every cloud runs out of rain.

This looks like P,s early ideas for Graffiti Bridge movie scribbled on note paper, which is quite interesting , but $1000. ouch!

It's got to be something like an overview for 'The Beautiful Experience', or something around 'The Gold Experience' era. It mentions Ripopgodazippa, 319, I Hate U, Shy, Pheromone & Billy Jack Bitch. It's cool, but not worth $1000, at least not to me.
If I want your opinion, I'll beat it outta ya!

One of my prized possession is a signed copy of the Lovesexy album that I get from him in Sept 1988. It was my freshman year of college and I heard on the radio that he would be doing a signing at the Sam Goody store in midtown (NYC). I pulled two of my roommates (who i barely knew at that point) and we went on down.

We each bought albums (yes, record albums) and stood on line for what seemed like forever. He was seated at a table in the store and was wearing a believe a polka dotted suit and white gloves. His hair was in a blowout.

My heart was pounding so fast as got nearer. I just kept staring and thought I was going to pass out. I couldn't believe how close I was about to get. I convinced my friend to ask him for tickets (we didn't have any, I didn't even know he was playing--- I was less meticulous then). She went up to him right before me, she leaned in to him and I saw her lips ask for them tickets. He stood up, opened one side of his jacket and shrugged his shoulders, to indicate that he didn't have any on him. It was very cute, actually. lol

When it was my turn, I couldn't get myself composed enough to do anything but hand him my album cover, stare like a crazy person, tremble and then walk away. Of course, I had to top it off by looking back as I walked away. It was crazy.

Anyway, I kept that album cover on my dorm room wall all four years. His signed it "Love God. Prince '88"... I can't believe that I lucked out. I was so young then. It was so cool to be experiencing everything for the first time and having the time to stop and do things like that on a moment's notice.

Do any of y'all have autographs from that time? I don't know if he did that often, or how much mine is worth. Does anybody know?
