I didn't listen to the clip but I'm assuming it's a rehash of the blurb that was in one of last week's tabloids (Star, I believe) that claimed Prince and Mani were at the movies together (can't remember which city) and they started "playfully tossing popcorn at each other and giggling" until an usher came and told them to please stop it as they were making a mess.
The story I read said that Prince told the usher they were sorry and that Prince "understands what its like to be an usher at a theater" because "he once was one, too". (That right there was the main reason I didn't bother posting about this story here on the Org as I've never, ever heard that Prince ever held an actual menial job in his life, let alone as an usher) It then went on to say Prince went up to the concession stand, asked for a broom and a dustpan, and proceeded to sweep up the mess he and the little Mrs. had made. For many reasons, I think this story is a load of  . Maybe Prince and Mani were at the movies, and maybe they were being cutesy and had a popcorn fight, but I seriously doubt the other allegations that Prince said he was once an usher, and then personally swept up sticky, gross popcorn from a movie theater floor. jmo | |

This isn't a story, it's a good one.So tabloid stories are legitimate when they claim Prince swept up popcorn at a theater?  So are the other tabloid stories that have in the past claimed he's done or said assholish things to now be believed, as well? Because around here those stories are always trashed as "tabloid shit" or "gossip crap" etc.

I just listened to it, not really big news.
He and Mani started tossing popcorn at each other at a movie theater, and an usher asked them to stop. Prince apologized to the usher, and explained that he used to be an usher when he was a teenager and used to hate cleaning up after messy moviegoers. Prince then followed the uhser and got a broom and Prince swept up the mess he and mani made. Flo Anthony then goes on to talk about how humble that was of Prince That's it. |
