Darline DOMONIQUIE

I myself write songs, but I write rap songs. Anyways, I kinda made a "part 2" to my favroit Prince song "Darline Nikki" involving myself. I tried to make refrences back to Princes orginal song. Would you guys please let me know what you think?

Do you think I do a good job of respecting Princes song? Do you think it is a decent "part 2"? Do you think it could be a good song?

Thanks

(Verse 1)
It was my boys 18th birthday so we went to Déjà vu
At strip club and we were straight actin a fool
I meet this stripper, named Dominique
She smelled ohh so sweet and I knew she was a freak
By the way she was nibbling on my dick through my pants
I knew she wanted to a lot more than just give me a lap dance
She whispered a proposition that just blew my mind
And I couldn’t resist the way that Dominique liked to grind

(Verse 2)
She took me back to her house and I couldn’t believe my eyes
She had all the freaky sex toys that money could buy
She gave me a drink and sat me down
She said she had a friend named Denver that lived on this side of town
I told her if she came over I really wouldn’t mind
Dominique handed me a piece of paper and said sign on the dotted line
A phone call from her friend, so she picks up her sex toys
She says we’re meeting her Denver at the hotel, so come on big boy

(Verse 3)
She called it her castle, the room that she always gets
She pulls down her thong, looks at me and says “lick”
I couldn’t believe that I was with two women
Dominique started to grind and the castle started spinnin
Now Denver got to grindin, them Dominique, I just can’t believe
Denver wants to grind one more time before she has to leave
Me and Dominique alone and she still wanted to grind
She’s been grindin so long I can see the sun through the blinds

(Verse 4)
I woke up later that morning but Dominique wasn’t around
I looked all over but all I found was a telephone number on the ground
She thanked me for a funky time and any time I wanted to grind
To never hesitate to call her on her cell phone line
She signed it love Dominique, aka Nikki
I’m thinking to myself, damn this stripper tricked me
Cause my man Prince told me bout this girl he meet at a hotel
And this must have been the same girl…ohh well

I don't think the lyrics alone do it justice eek
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

no hard feelings, but prince usually doesnt dig it too much, if somebody messes with his music. this procedure is known as "divinitysm". it means conciously stealing a prince-song, adding a personal note and then complaining about him getting pissed.
If you wanna do a song to respect prince, do a song with a serious funk flavor and soulful feeling. do something YOU really like, not something you think HE might like. if you are good, you will get a record deal, your song will be aired on MTV and prince might call and say: "cool, dude. wanna rap at one of my shows?" you might get called on stage, embarrass yourself and prince, and be hated by prince fans for the rest of your life.
thats all advie I can give you.
btw: if you wanna make prince truly happy, give him a sand dollar. but DO NOT tell him you have been waiting to give it to him for 20 years. being a particual age you are (21), he might get suspicious and call you a lier and break the sand dollar.
"Peace and Benz -- The future, made in Germany" peace
