Look at what Apple just did with U2.

Would you buy a Prince iPod if Apple did something like that with Prince?

Would you buy "the Complete Prince" if Apple offered it at the iTunes store?

The complete U2 is $149, with a $50 discount if you buy the U2 iPod. 25 albums plus 2 albums worth of bonus music for $149 works out to about $5.50/album. What a bargain. Apple is going to sell a ton of these, U2 is going to make a fortune off of these, and fans are going to get easy access to all of the music.

including all the mixes and remixes, instrumental versions, a capella's and
songs he wrote for other artists.

Plus a new album, PLUS another 25 songs from the vault.

Prince is one of the few artist you need 20GB Mp3 player for. So I think it would be a good idea, you can put all of Prince's songs on it. Even if it is thousands, like he says.

Then again Prince doesn't do endorsements. I can't imagine how Prince and Apple would work out a deal. Apple would have to let him sell it at the NPGMC. The only thing Prince has ever endorsed is Capn Crunch (which oddly enough I happened to be eating right now )

If so then no, I wouldn't buy it.

In all honesty it would be easy to make a prince i-pod if Apple doesn't do it.
I already have a prince mp3 player it's a dell though. It did take forever to make mp3's of everything so it would be great to have it already done.

But like I said if The Riaa has anything to do with it,then no can do for me.

I already own all the other stuff.

My hubby already calls my iPod my "pPod" because it already has tons of Prince music. . .

if there is a purple one, just buy that, and prentend it's P 'endorsed'
