No Shit Sherlock!

Did you know there is a real car called a "Corvette"? Apparently some of them are small and available in a range of colours, including Red!

Also, Rain is a real type of weather. It's when water falls from the sky. Reports are sketchy, so I can't confirm if it comes in Purple or not.

Finally, "sarcasm" is a genuine form of expression, as is "derision".

Dorothy Parker (1893-1967)

Resumé

1Razors pain you;
2Rivers are damp;
3Acids stain you;
4And drugs cause cramp.
5Guns aren't lawful;
6Nooses give;
7Gas smells awful;
8You might as well live.
Notes

1] Dorothy Parker's first suicide attempt, cutting her wrists, took place in January 1923. Later she made others, overdosing on the sedative Veronal, consuming a bottle of shoe polish, and taking sleeping powder, the last in 1932 (Not Much Fun: The Lost Poems of Dorothy Parker, compiled with an introduction by Stuart Y. Silverstein [New York: Scribner, 1996]: 29; PS 3531 A5855N68 1996 Robarts Library).

The most research I ever did in my college library related to the dark Dorothy Parker...and none of it was for school. I recommend it to anyone. She can be very dark but the sense of humor always shines through. Thanks to Prince for sparking a literary interest.
