Not sure What Prince thinks of Rap but I know what a rapper thinks of Prince.

Tupac arguably the most famous & influential rapper loved Prince's music. Thought i would drop lil mix of tracks to show ya'll
It has:
1) a short clip of Tupac mentioning Prince in interview
2) Thugs Get Lonely Too (Unreleased Version samples If I Was Your Girlfriend) (a new version that Eminem produced & sounds like S##t is about to be released instead sad )
3) 2 Live & Die in L.A (contains sample/remake of Do Me Baby)
4) Pac's Life (a unreleased track & will most likely stay unreleased track which samples Pop Life)

hmmm after hearing the snippet mp3, the hottest sample usage is "Thugs Get Lonely Too" with the IIWYG loop.

Let's hear that "Thugs Get Lonely Too" instead! woot!

Prince would probably have said to Tupac, go learn a real instrument, then you won't have to go sampling MY music all the time! And pay me my royalties!

whatup fonzy, good 2 c u on here as well as hitemup.com. good looks on bringing the OG "thugz get lonely too" to the attention of the ORG. i was planning to do it myself at some point.

anyway, do any of the hardcore prince fans on here know which live bootleg of "if i was ur girlfriend" that "thugz get lonely too" is sampled from? its a live bootleg, its not the album version.

Tupac also quoted Prince in an early crossover hit single. In "I Get Around" (feat/Digital Underground) Tupac says "everybody's looking for the ladder." Easy to miss, but it's in there.
