Movies with Prince songs and references in them What movies have you all seen that has played a Prince song or had a Prince reference in it ?
I know in "Wierd Science", they played Private Joy, in..I think it was Runnaway Bride, Julia Roberts was singing Kiss in the bathtub, and I noticed in Beverly Hills Cop (i think) they played Nasty Girl when they were at the strip club. Well Thaz really all i can think of right now, but do u guys know any? | |

DO the Right Thing - John Tuturro's racist character is arguing with Spike's character about how there are no black people worth admiring. Among others, Spike says, "Who's your favorite singer? Prince! He's black!" I think John's character tries to deny it, or say he's half-Italian or something and Spike repeats, "Back, he's black!" or something. ANy1 remember the exchange?
Does the 0(+> symbol in Fargo's credits count? What about Good Love in Bright Lights, Big City? "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

dont know if this counts?:in the movie soulman with c thomas howell as mark watson, there was this scene where the black mark is with his white girlfriend's family.and they imagined how mark would turn out if he were married to their daughter.then his girlfriend's kid brother imagines mark as prince playing his guitar and doing that nasty tongue thing!!!

Also in Showgirls there's a club scene (I know there's many) and you can hear Ripopgodazippa in the background.That was in 1995 before it was even officially released in Crystal Ball 3 years later. |
