"100 MPH" & "All Day, All Night"

Has anybody ever heard these two outtakes? If so, are they fast or slow tempo?

The outtakes or Prince versions are pretty much the same speed as the originals. 100 MPH - Mazarati, All Day, All Night - Jill Jones. (In case you didn't know)

Has anybody seen the video for 100 MPH. baddddd (and not in a good way).
Did you know that Mazarati only consisted of Prince, Brown Mark and the lead singer Terry (what's his name).

I'm going out on a limb here but I think 100mph is about 105bpm and All Day about 122bpm. If I was at home I could tell you the exact bpm's.

I can't think of any other way to explain it. 100 mph = same speed as KISS. All Day, All Night. = same speed as La La La Hee Hee Hee.

Does anybody want to love-sign on this.
Can I get an A-men!!!!

Where did u get this fable?? So I was dreaming, when I saw Mazerati in '85 @ The Palace in Hollywood? Sure looked like a band to me. Where do you guys cook up the pots of shit that you sling around here? No disrespect intended, but Brown Mark produced the band, and Prince wrote 100 MPH and let the band record it!!!!! Wow..... wink

Chill dude. Obviously Prince, Brown Mark and whats-his-face can't play all the fucking instruments. I read in CONTROVERSY magazine. They hired the band after the album. Of course I WASN'T THERE SO I DON'T KNOW THE REAL DEAL!!!

Agreed. The band did exist as I saw them, but you know how Prince works alone alot and Brown took on the same work ethic on most of the other tunes. Brown dabbkled in lots of instruments ,as did Andre and Sonny. The bassists weren't JUST the bassists.

"all day,all night" has always been one of my favorite outs. It is a very good representation of that era.

It's one of my top five outtakes. I enjoy it way more than Jill's.

thumbs up!

Jill's version is great all the "what am I, am I what" stuff is great, that song is intoxicating.

But the P & The Revolution version is special:

Ich liebe dich, ich liebe dich love

Terry Casey.

And that's absolute tosh, it was Brown Mark's project, Prince had very little to do with Mazarati.

I just made a post about Prince's input in their album, here: http://www.prince.org/msg/7/123282

This is MY point exactly(sounding like a 40 y.o. Grandfather, slinging the facts).....you cannot believe everything you read. Your story relates more to The Time's history than Mazerati's. Back in the day, this is why so many untrue rumors were spread about P because of this type of misinformation. I'm not piling on you or picking on you, but it just kills me to see peeps on here saying things just to post. Yours isnt bad, its the other shit of more personal nature about P and his family/relationships that make MOST posts not worth the time that peeps take to type them in. No harm no foul, just an old-timers TWO CENTS!!!! PEEEEACE.

So tell us your P.O.V. then. I'm going by what's published in Uptown's publications - whilst I know no-one is 100% correct (and they have made mistakes) - their info is based on interviews and studio logs.

If you disput it, and you have any kind of proof, that's fantastic, the more we know about lil' man's work the better! Bring it on smile

Eeep! Sorry, maybe I didn't read your reply properly, I thought you were saying my point was just what I had read and that you thought Prince DID have a larger input into the Mazarati project than we currently believe.
