I was gonna say, that I reckon Prince's lawyers must be on retainer, they seem to just thrash about looking for people to sue just to justify their existence without looking at the big picture.

I'm sure their must be a way around all this - I'm sure you can make a copy of a painting and sell it, as long as it made clear and has your own signature somewhere, it isn't a forgery...
