Ok... the primary video that has been shown featured periodic scenes which showed Mayte in a Doctor's office. This alluded to her pregnancy in my mind. Prince however went out of his way to create an alternate version of the video which featured him alone and didn't include any hints of Mayte or her pregnancy. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but given what happened later with Mayte's pregnancy, was the creation of the alternate version of the video a odd coincidence or is there more to this story?

It appears that it was the version Prince chose to use in Europe (it was played on Britain's "Top of the Pops".) The video features Prince singing to the camera for the full duration of the clip.

weird. the only one i've seen is the one with mayte in the hospital. isn't prince pumping gas at the beginning of that clip? what's that all about?!?
