POOM POOM - WTF? I would love your theories on what Poom POom is supposed to be about.

u kno what ive never heard the song (still building my collection...right now im penniless so yeah lol)
and when i heard the title of this song...i automatically thought it was about the poonani....cuz it sounds similar to the various jamaican slang terms for it that i heard growing up LOL so i unno i think it might ACTUALLY be about vaginas...then again i havent read the lyrics either lol | |

i've always taken this song as it should be taken...a joke. i'm guessing even prince just wants to make a corny track now and then rather than make some kind of bold statement with every song.
i love me some poom poom! i just wish he would've played it any one of the many times i carried my sign to the concerts!  the inside joke of the song is long over now and i don't really want to hear it live anymore but at the time, it would have too funny if he played it!
