WHAT IS YOUR TOP 10 BEST AND TOP 10 WORSE PRINCE TV MOMENTS

These can be interviews, performances, acceptance speeches, videos. My list aren't in any particular order. What do you think

Top 10 Best for me

1) American Bandstand because it was the first time I saw him perform
2) The muppet show, because it was so unlike him to be on a show like that
3) The Kurt Loder interview on MTV 1999
4) Tavis Smiley this year w/ Wendy
5) Larry King interview 1999
6) Grammy performance w/ Beyonce
7) Jay Leno second show 1999
8) BBC documentary in 1993
9) 1985 receiving his Oscar
10) The first Arsenio performance

Top 10 worse for me

1) The Under the Cherry Moon interview on MTV
2) The Sheridan Wyoming special for UTCM MTV
3) The Carson Daly TRL show/ interview
4) The Soultrain awards with that green and yellow outfit 1993
5) The 2nd Arsenio show
6) The SoulTrain show in 1995 w/ Mayte and Nona Gaye
7) An Interview with Matt Lauer 1999
8) The rave concert PPV
9) The Old Man performance at the GQ awards
10) The World Music Awards peformance w/ Mayte

I think the American Bandstand-performance is really funny, but one of his best? Naaaah! No choreography and lip-synching, not really sth typical for the man!

The performance with James Brown and Michael Jackson is also rather humiliating to my opinion, and the way he keeps rubbing his nose... hmmmm. And the way James looks, he really looks like a big fat grandmomma.

I haven't seen that many performances, so I won't make a list, but I really don't like his act in these two, although I think they're really hilarious.

The Best: The 1985 American Music Awards performance and receiving his awards that night.

Then the Grammys a month after that, performance and receiving awards.

The worst?? Can't think of any right now.

Best:

1. MTV Music Awards : Assless pants
2. Grammys : Purple Rain performed live, standing ovation
3. RR Hall of Fame - ALicia Key's REALLY hyped him up
4. David Letterman - Dolphin performance. He did an excellent job. After jabbing Prince for changing his name to prince the entire show, Letter man actually yelled out in approval after the performance with a big fat "yeah!!" clapping.
5. MTV Musicology 30 Minute Prince special. I belive 3 music channels ran it at the same time with different interview segments--lots of hype, and Prince performed very well, even if the song set wasn't my favorite.
6. American Music Awards performance of Gold Experience songs. ALl the songs where lipped synced, none of them had every been released (it was questionable that the Gold Experience was EVER going to be released), and the performance had almost a Michael Jackson feel to it. The reason why it was so great is that it was very energetic, and he got a standing ovation for it.

Worst:
1. Oh Lord Prince, why appear on MTV's TRL and insult Caron? His candid response made you look so stupid.
2. Oh my God, that Oprah show would have been awesome, if you didn't lie to the Queen of TV. Lying to Oprah is just plain wrong, even if it gave you good publicity.
3. Oh My God, What was that Blue SurranWrap/Tin Foil getup you wore at the VMA awards during your RaveUn2 days? And not performing 1999 when MTV asked? 1999 was supposed to be your year!!!
4. During your TAFKAP/ prince days, Appearing on BET and being completely unable to adequately answer the question, "Prince had some major major hits--what's so wrong with being Prince?" It appears when questions or scenerios deviate from script, Prince is just unable to cope.
5. The Muppet show. Appearing on a lighthearted show and poking fun at the record industry makes for very awkward, embarrasing, and just plain boring television.
