Apart from all the creative inspiration, I can say that I was raised by a couple of very violent parents. Purple Rain came out when I was 13, and things were at their worst. When I saw that movie, I'd found my hero. And I don't know where I'd be today, if I hadn't been able to occasionally tell myself:

"Baby, I'm a Star,
You might not know it now,
But baby, yes I are..."
PRINCE: the only man who could wear high heels and makeup and STILL steal your woman!

When I first saw Prince, I was 14 and working at a record store (illegally) and I got the promo copy of For You. I saw him and I knew him. I wrote him a letter and put my phone number at the bottom. Three months later, he called me and for a moment I was thrusted into the grandest of ecstacies hearing his voice on the phone talking to me and then I crashed back down to earth when my dad got on the phone and yelled at him for calling at 11:30 at night. That pretty much sums up the story of my life (Grand Ecstacies - Crash Back Down To Earth - Thanks to Prince for enlightening me on what was to come).

Appreciate that though life may throw you into different setups, U are still th same person you always were--
You can prosper in a variety of ways-- Just look at Prince's many different bands, women, hairstyles, musical ventures to where many did not want to follow---And still he has impacted all of us in such a powerful way.

Be brave and unafraid of change is what i take fr. the Purple Gospel--Everything will turn out just fine if you're following something w/your whole heart....
Even if we come up w/crap ( confused Jughead, the Sacrifice of Victor, 60% of Graffiti Bridge lol )-- You'll rebound w/something learned hmmmhmmm---

Like firing Tony M...madstab

Another lesson-- explore the joys of the human body-- preferably w/a partner--
revel in the creativity and success of a Divine design-- and do it often w/someone u care for. whip

Also, do you think that ugly people are God's cruel joke on humanity (like the platypus and the heterosexual) or another form of population control?
