the last time i can remember prince doing it the right way and getting a single released in the uk BEFORE the album was "i hate u", top 20 hit in 1995 before the release of "the gold experience" album....if "cinnamon girl" had been released in march before the album with a video, it would have went top 20, no problem.

THis is really sad, but I kind of liked Rave Un2.
It just lost its luster quick.
With most P albums, whether I like them or not, successive listenings get better. With Rave they got more boring.

yes...on import...but it wasnt officially released until 3 months after the album came out...must have been waiting for the video...as usual.
