World Music Awards where he accepts some award--I can't remember what the award was.
Nina Cherry introduces him and he walks up on stage with a cane and very dark Versace Sunglasses. I think his speech went something like this: "Prince!!" as  clapped to himself.
"Yeah!", "Prince!!" clapping still (the audience started off clapping then started to quiet down" He stops clapping. Pauses. Then says, "The Best?" as if insulting Prince like he was a different person. "THe Gold Experience", he continues, "..better." "on Stage, perfectly free" then pauses. "On Record....Slave." THen pauses "Come." "Get WIld" "Thank you." THen walks off stage. I don't think it's word-for-word, but it left quite and impression on me. | |
