The Undertaker (...because of the C & D thread)

From that same era, the Undertaker was a great little record. I've personally listened to it on hundreds of occasions and it's really a fave among non-prince fans who don't realize how multi-faceted the cat is. I really think he could have done more with that whole Hendrix-style 3-piece. Any others?

i agree, the undertaker may be my favorite run of songs by prince. raw and rockin - i love it!

Definately a fantastic little record.

When you look at it as a whole, the 93/94 period is right up there in terms of quantity and quality with the 85/86 period.

It was intended to be given with a Guitar Player magazine, but Warner didnt allow it in the last minute, and the Cd's (most of them, of course) were destroyed.

The video that was published was edited, its not 100% what Prince played. The Ride was longer, Dolphin was really live, and tehre is a little stop between "Zannalee" and "The Undertaker".
