just thought i'd mention it. i don't know about you but i go through prince OD sometimes where i don't listen to him for weeks and sometimes months. yes, months! i slowly eased back into him by putting my ipod on shuffle...this way prince just kinda pops up here and there reminding me why i love him.

lately i've been on this tori amos/prince shuffle thing...it seems to be doing the job. i've been craving lovesexy, trc, and sott like crazy.

so yeah, i've been digging prince lately.

Lately I've been craving more and more Prince music too.


Ever since I heard 'im yours' I can't seem to get enuf.

It goes in phases for me.
SOmetimes I burn out.
THen I come back and listen to him with a fresh ear.

For example, I left LoveSexy alone for about 10 years, not really digging it much.

I heard it again a couple of months ago, and was blown away by it--pure genius, even if Kat's rap was um---different.

I agree, I am on and off too, but I am like that with all of my favorites....

I think Im going to need to step back from Prince in a few days

and watching a concert/video DVD everynight

Im just beginning to overwhelm myself, Last night I was trying to
decide what CD to put in but it felt like I had heard them
all just a day ago.

I just got the BATACLAN cd as an early B-Day present. I'm not too happy with it because it's audience recorded. Oh well.
When I OD on Prince I tend to go back to the first 2 albums or ATWIAD. I love it when Prince isn't over produced.
