I thought that was a reaction to something that Prince said to Missy and Timbaland. I can't remember the story but I think Missy was a little pissy at Prince about something and then Prince, who I think should have taken the high road, responded with his lyrics.

didn't Tim and Prince has a liiiiittle beef with each other? i think it was in Vibe magazine like 4 or 5 years ago, Tim was claiming to be as big a genius as Prince and P told him to "put up or shut up" and i was like "ooooohhh..Prince starting shit" but i would LOVE to see that. Tim isn't up there with Prince but still. But that might be it.

In that Vibe article Tim said that everyone is biting Missy & his sound. Prince made a comment about there comment saying that "4 twenty years people have been biting my style, that means you have to keep switching it up...." something like that. Anyway-then it was on. I don't think he was dissing them, just giving them a hard time-I guess they didn't like it.

In some bizarre twist I also think that "Life Of The Party" -especially the rap- is
supposed to sound like something Missy and Timothy would come up with, cept

Consequently that happens to be the worst song on the album. I think Missy &
Tim had a good laugh when they heard it haha.
