Purple Rain DVD - no insert thingy Hi,
I've just bought the new Purple Rain DVD and when opened, there's just the 2 discs inside - no insert/leaflet/pamphlet/credits thing clipped into the inside of the cover. Is that right? Cheers | |

A lot of companies now omit inserts as a cost cutting measure, and they argue that the menus on the DVD give you more information. Personally, I miss the inserts, and especially with a "20th anniversary" edition of a film you'd expect some kind of booklet. |

OK. I am glad that it wasn't just my DVD.
I almost got banned from Best Buy because I was sure that there had to be an insert and I made them open 3 copies to double check!  | |

yeah...there arent any in any of the dvds that came out recently (pr, utcm,and gb)
