well, i don't exactly hate adore, but i don't really like it all that much (the same 4 insatiable and Call my name) I think the song is kinda boring...but as a matter of fact i don't really like or listen to alot of P's ballads or slow songs that much 4 some reason-(except 4 maybe Free, Nothing Compares 2U,) ... uh well,then again i haven't even heard all of his slow jams so i don't no if i like them or not -but the ones ive heard-i sort of skip em. | |

I think it's held in very high esteem among Prince fans because it's one of the more heartfelt, honest ballads he's written. The singing is wonderful, the arrangement is nice and the words are among his best written. It's not one of my favorite Prince ballads by a long shot, but I can definitely see what the fuss is about. | |

I used to not particularly care for it, but now I would rank it as Prince's best romance song. Granted, this isn't quite the same as saying it's Prince's best ballad/slow jam, but it's his most romantic song. In my opinion, Prince's sex songs/slow jams/ballads/whatever are usually among his weakest songs (unless we're talking power ballads like Purple Rain, The Cross, Gold etc..) | |

I don't hate it, but I think its his most overated song ever. He has done alot of other ballads that I think are superior. Its kinda like the lovesexy saved my life thing, decent album, but he had like 7 other albums that decade that were better | |
